Containment Boom (Oil Only) Contain fuel Spills in Water

Oil spills in bodies of water pose a significant risk to the environment and animals.

In the event of an oil spill, there are several contributing environmental variables to consider, such as tainted water seeping into soil and harming plant development, or pollution of groundwater, neighbouring rivers, or streams.

The Containment Boom can absorb up to 19 times its own weight in oil and will stay afloat for far longer than rival poly booms.

Booms feature XtraSorb, a treated cellulose fibre, and are encased in a strong poly inner netting and a durable outer jacket with ties and clips for attaching numerous booms together as an environmentally acceptable alternative to synthetic polypropylene goods.

Application and Uses

Oil and gasoline spills can be contained and absorbed using this product on the water. Small marinas, collecting ponds, dams, and wastewater collection pits are all frequent uses for booms. Automotive, industrial, commercial markets, maritime, waste management, and manufacturing industries are also candidates.

The Containment Boom works best when combined with KleenSweep and Oil Socks, and it’s an important aspect of any spill response strategy.
